Miss Marlee is almost 7 months now.

Quite the accomplishment for an almost 7 month old if I do say so myself. Of course I am partial to the sweet girl. Gosh I truly love being her grandma!

Its almost reveal time at Cocoa Daisy!! I'm so excited about this kit. Its packed full of Ali Edwards favorite products right now. Its focused around Ali's love for numbers and letters. You won't wanna miss this one!!

Also included is a Daisy exclusive stamp and journaling cards designed by Ali. And as with past kits, because there are so many great products that Ali wants to include, it will be a much larger kit than our regular monthly kit and will retail for $47.50. Lots have been going on this month! Some exciting news to share is that I tried out and made the team at Cocoa Daisy. So excited to get started! I should be receiving my first kit any day now! September at CD is gonna be an awesome one. It's the kit designed by Ali Edward's Favorites!! I will post a picture of the kit as soon as I can.

The kids started school on the 18th. The summer zoomed by! They are all loving their teachers and their schools. Brady, my 5th grader, is super excited because he gets to start in band this year. I think he's chosen the trumpet, gonna follow in Trevor's foot steps. I'm so glad he is willing to give it a shot. Sam is gonna get involved in Boy Scouts this year. They have a meeting tomorrow night. Emma is having a ball in 1st grade. First year to be going all day. I sure do miss her in the afternoons but I'm so glad she likes it and I DO enjoy the quiet. After all its been 11 years of me and at least one kid at home. Time for the break!

We went to visit my dad and Janice a couple weekends ago. It was a long time coming and we are planning to not make it so long before the next time. We did get to bring Marlee along so they were able to meet her.

and since it wouldn't be fair to include him, heres a photo I took of Trevor on sunday since I didn't get to take one of the first day of school. TOO darn early and besides I don't think it would have been cool to do that with him in High School now. LOL

Even though she is gonna be a "big girl" now, starting 1st grade and all, I still see her as my baby and this photo proves it. I had my camera out playing with the settings and I asked Emma to let me snap a couple. Well this is what she gave me but I'll take it!! LOL Well my term was up at Kraft Girl Kits in July. So now I am currently not designing for anyone. Feels so weird. Guess I better get my rear in gear and get to submitting. I am so gonna miss the structure. I had such a great time at Kraft Girl Kits. Pam designs some fabulous kits.

School starts soon. YAY! I will miss the kiddos but its good to miss them. Emma will be in 1st grade this year. ALL DAY! First time since I have had kids that I will be home alone. May have to get a J-O-B just to occupy my time. We'll see!!

Playing around with some more texture. I really thinking I am getting the hang of it. I love what it did to this picture of Sam.
Those of you who have been following my drama with my oldest daughter, I would like to thank you for all the prayers and positive thoughts. It means so much to me. I would like to ask you all to continue praying. She is in such a undesirable situation and my heart hurts so much for her and with the birth of her daughter rapidly approaching we are gonna need it. She goes in for her induction monday morning at 5:30am. I hope that things go smoothly as possible for her and that this transition to motherhood is as easy as possible. Its so hard knowing that she is just a baby herself approaching such a HUGE life change. Thanks so much again! It means the world to us. Oh and if you can, think of me as I have to watch my baby having a baby. I'm scared to death! LOL

It helps that Brady is so cooperative and beautiful to photo. Yes I said BEAUTIFUL about my SON. But he is. At least I think he is. LOL

Boy does life fly!

It sure does if you don't pay attention. Its been crazy sense the kids have been home. And to top it if we are on "baby watch"! Erika is due in 2 weeks from today. Her dr has scheduled her for induction a week from today but hopefully she will go into labor on her own. Here's the little momma. I took this last week when she was here.

And in honor of father's day coming up, here one of Brad and the 3 youngest kids.

I know its been so long....

Things have been crazy with school getting out! Trevor was promoted from 8th grade to a Freshman. HIGH SCHOOL! I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT MYSELF! He was honored with the Citizenship award at Promotion. Such an honor for him. Only 1 boy and 1 girl from the whole 8th grade class was voted for this award. What the Citizenship award says is, "for excellence as an exemplary young citizen, who has demonstrated a marked respect for country; assumed responsibility for improving school and community; and has shown reverence for life." Wow, we are so proud of him!!
!
Now that the kids are out of school, I get to hear, "we're bored, we have nothing to do." Oh joy! Waiting for it to stay warm and the water to warm up at the outside pool at the YMCA so we can go hang out there since it IS right around the corner!

Erika is almost 36 weeks. Times and ticking and Marley will be here soon! Can't wait to see her little face!!

So here it is almost April and Mother Nature decided she wanted to play a joke on us. Here we sit in the midst of freezing rain(over an inch of it to be exact) and they are calling for what could be up to a foot of snow by tomorrow(BLIZZARD WARNING). Isn't that nuts? So....we have resorted to this...

Poor guy! Brady came up to me yesterday and said "mom, my head feels hot". I took his temperature and it was 102. YIKES! Here we go again! Gosh I hope it doesn't venture to the others. Here it is sunday and still a fever. Him and I stayed home from church and he did let me take a picture of him. He's so beautiful! I know, I know, not supposed to call boys beautiful. But I sure think he is. Ok until next time!

Well at least I accomplished something. We didn't do too much on Spring Break but we did go to the part on thursday and I was able to get a decent picture of my boys. I can't believe how much and fast they grow! These days are flying by with them. I try to cherish each and every moment with them. ...they'd stay little just a while longer. I was going through photos and came across this photo of Sam, my 6 year old. He's gonna be 7 in March and was just thinking, WOW time flies. Seems like just yesterday he was just a tiny baby. Now he's toothless, bigger than I want him to be BUT he still has his favorite stuffed animal he needs and still sneaks in that thumb when he's a sleep.
